As I go from town to town carefully watching the street style, I also explore the cities where I go, by walking everywhere and merging with the lifestyle of the locals (as long as I don’t open my mouth so nobody knows I’m a foreigner). Of course very quickly is noticeable I”m a traveler since I carry my camera everywhere and take pictures of everything.

I wanted to be able to share the wonderful and not so wonderful moments with everybody and came with the idea of adding a page to the blog. How much and how well is  gong to work? I don’t know since I’m not that knowlegeable and I just learn by trial and error. So, I apologize in advance for any amateur mistkes I’ll make.

O.K. Here we go! I’m going to have to start a little backwards since this idea saw the light after a month and a half of traveling through, New York, London, Milano and now I’m living my last week in Paris. (so sad) :-(

Since I first thought about this trip, I always had Paris in the back of my mind as my “Meca”. It probably was after a couple of unpleasant experiences many years ago that left me without closure. I just wanted to make sure that I was either right, and never try coming back again, or I was wrong and I was going to love it.

Well guess what? I fell crazy, madly, head over heels in love with Paris!!!

From the very first moment when I arrived and the driver patiently waited for me to get my bags that didn’t arrive with me on the plane, his very sweet and soft demeanor, his vary fair fare, everything from that moment, tore my defensive walls down.

The owner of the place  where I have been staying, was also patiently waiting for me, full of kindness and willingness to make sure that I had everything I needed to make my stay comfortable. The place is adorable and it’s located in a very family oriented neighboorhood but very close to everything you want to see in Paris.

The place is extremely comfortable and homie, with everything that you need so you don’t get homesick! Well…. PERFECTION!! Nothing fancy, don’t get me wrong! I’m just not looking for fancy, just comfort. And I have plenty in this little beautiful place.

I want to figure out how to write about this trip (and hopefully more), by adding posts to the Travel Page. As soon as I do, I will post more little things here and there, before I forget.

It has been one of the most (if not the most) wonderful experience I’ve had in many years! I have felt so HAPPY!!
